Project: Media Sponsorship for PDX Pop Now Festival; Media Sponsorship Coordinator – PDX Pop Now!

Overview: While part of the festival’s team, I was responsible for securing and managing media sponsorships to expand audience reach and enhance festival visibility. The festival featured multiple local artists on one stage and attracted a growing following, making partnerships with local media a key component of its success.

Responsibilities:
•Pitched media sponsorship opportunities to local newspapers, magazines, online outlets, and radio stations.
•Created tiered sponsorship package decks offering varying levels of festival and marketing exposure.
•Coordinated content creation with the marketing and design teams to fulfill sponsor deliverables.
•Managed deadlines, graphics, and logistics for sponsor visibility during the festival.
•Maintained ongoing communication with seven media sponsors to ensure commitments were met.

Goal: Secure multiple media partnerships to increase festival coverage, drive ticket sales, and provide reciprocal exposure for both the festival and its sponsors.

Outcome: Successfully secured seven media sponsorships, contributing to stronger festival visibility, social media engagement, and cross-promotion across local media outlets. Sponsors were satisfied with their coverage, and the festival’s marketing team reported increased audience reach compared to prior years.
