Marketing Campaign: Lose Yr Mind Festival ’22

Project: Lose Yr Mind festival marketing; Marketing Manager – Lose Yr Mind Fest

Overview: In its seventh year, Lose Yr Mind Festival expanded from one venue to three and added its first-ever all-ages stage to engage a wider audience. As Marketing Manager, I oversaw the festival’s communications strategy to highlight its growth, increase visibility, and drive ticket sales. This was my fourth year on the marketing team.

Responsibilities:
•Managed and updated the festival website with lineup announcements, artist bios, and ticketing information.
•Produced and scheduled monthly newsletters to maintain engagement and promote ticket sales.
•Built and executed a social media calendar, scheduling consistent content through Hootsuite/Sprout Social.
•Drafted and distributed press releases to local outlets, securing media coverage and event listings.
•Captured live photo and video content across all venues during the festival to boost real-time engagement and amplify the festival experience online.

Goal: Promote the expanded multi-venue format, increase visibility for the lineup, and grow attendance while spotlighting the festival’s new all-ages programming.

Outcome:
•Festival drew record attendance and sold out by the end of the second night.
•Achieved strong community engagement with the launch of the all-ages stage.
•Secured consistent coverage in local media and listings, broadening awareness.
•Real-time social media content captured during the festival strengthened audience connection and reinforced the festival’s presence for future years.
